Step #5: Keep driving traffic to the free offer. In other words, keep adding prospects to the top of the marketing funnel and let your autoresponder do the work for you.

This formula works. And if you follow the steps, you can finally take that walk on the beach while your system dumps money into your bank account.

If you are not making a lot of sales from your website,
and you’ve never been in direct sales before, then
you’re probably making some very basic mistakes, and
can easily increase your sales.

Even if you have been in direct sales before, if you
haven’t thought the process through, you’re probably
making some very basic mistakes on your website - and
that’s killing sales.

Making sales from a webpage is really not that different
than making sales face-to-face. Yes, you have to do it
using html, instead of verbally, but the process isn’t
different.

First of all, you have to anticipate and answer your
prospect’s objections. If you’ve ever gone through any
type of direct sales training, a big part of it was
probably going over answers to the various objections
that your prospects are likely to raise.  You probably
had to practically memorize answers to the most common
objections. You practiced answering those objections
until you were blue in the face.

Your online sales process should be NO different.  You
should spend time brainstorming possible objections
that people who read your website, or email, might raise,
and then you need to have ready answers to those objections.

Since your email readers or website visitors can’t
express those objections to you, you have to answer them
as if they were raised.  You make a list of most-probable
objections and then you answer them - right in your copy.

After you have been marketing your product or service for
a while, and gotten more feedback from your customers,
you will also have them provide you with NEW objections.
You need to incorporate the responses to those in your
revised web copy and emails.

The process of selling is an interactive process. Even on
a webpage it MUST be interactive to be effective. You
must enter the conversation already going on inside of your
prospect’s head.  You must jump into that conversation
as convincingly as you would if that person were sitting
across the kitchen table from you.

Far too many online marketers fail to even consider the
fact that their websites and emails ARE conversations with
prospects.  You can’t afford to do that.

Actually sit down and brainstorm this conversation.  Make
a list of possible/probably objections, and then answer
them.  Incorporate the answers to those objections into your
web and email copy.  Do this and you will notice a dramatic
increase in your conversion rates.

The sales process is largely responding to objections
(reasons that your customer won’t buy).  If you don’t
address those “reasons” then you shouldn’t expect to make
sales.

Now, you know what the problem is and how to fix it.

So you’ve read alot of information about the affiliate marketing business and you want to get going, but there’s a problem. Too many distractions.

Making money on the internet is tough when you’re easily distracted. Even if you decide to take action, there is always something new that comes into your email and steals your time and attention, but this is not the only source of distraction…

What does your desktop look like?

Is it littered with icons from every plr, mrr and free giveway you ever picked up? How about all the icons to the paid products that you plan to get to, but never find time for before you buy the next WSO?

It gets worse…

What does your workspace look like?

Is it littered with every book on free traffic and blogging you own?

So far as you can see, distractions abound everywhere and if not addressed, the likelihood of seeing any kind of success online is slim to none and slim just left town.

What can you do?

Sit still for a second and write out a plan for what you want to accomplish.

Whether it’s for a new minisite, creating a product, finishing off a promotional sequence for an existing marketing campaign, whatever it is put it down on paper.

Next thing you have to do is arrange your affairs so as to allow for maximum productivity by clearing away the distractions that will eat your time, money and confidence.

Create a new email account if you have to.

Arrange your desktop so that only the necessary tools are available.

Clear your workspace and minimize the amount of manuals and ebooks that you keep out. Use what you need and put the rest away.

You’ll soon see that your ability to produce cash flow from your affiliate marketing business will increase dramatically.

When it comes to achieving top spots in the search engines, getting massive backlinks fast is the name of the game. However just any old backlinks won’t do and it’s important that you don’t waste time scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The most powerful backlinks are the kind that are connected to quality content. Quality search engines provide customers with content tightly related and relevant to what people are looking for and as such profit from the massive amounts of advertisements strategically placed around that content.

It is for this reason that article marketing is such a powerful way to obtain high PR backlinks back to your website. However it is important that the articles you provide deliver content that  benefits you as well as the search engines.

Why is this important? Writing quality articles is important because while you may get a backlink to your site, eventually that article will get buried in the article directory and the strength of that link will diminish.

However, do you know who profits from junk articles? The article directory, because there will be about a dozen adsense ads surrounding the article. So if your article doesn’t deliver the searcher will just give the article directory the money. Not good.

While writing quality articles although profitable and good for your credibility is important, they can be quite time consuming to write. To get massive backlinks fast and see really good traffic coming to your site, how many articles do you think you would have to write?

Try 100-300. That’s a lot of work. But what if you could turn every article you write into 10 or 20 quality versions of itself?
