How often do you take action in your internet marketing business? Are you a weekend warrior? Does the thought of making money online merely sound good to you? or are you in the trenches everday taking action?
There are a lot of good theories out there that sound absolutely amazing, but ain’t worth the blog they are posted on. Sound harsh? maybe, but if you’ve spent some time actively working on your blog or whatever it is you’re doing, all you have to do is track your results to know what works from what doesn’t.
You don’t have to buy every product in the market place to find out either. Pick a strategy and gun it for a week and you’ll be able to see whether or not it ’s worth the time or effort. Often times I hear of and from many people who are just starting out with internet marketing and the story remains the same…
I just started writing a blog and I know it’s only my first week, but I’m not seeing any real traffic yet or I haven’t made a sale yet.
So many people are struggling to make money on the internet because in their minds it’s still just a good idea, it hasn’t become a real business to them yet. This internet thing just sounds like a way to make some quick cash without making any committment or putting forth any real effort.
Well just to put it to rest the ‘theory’ concerning making money on the internet is real. The question is: when does it become real to you? You see your job is real to you. You go to work… you get paid. Only problem is that you can’t write your own paycheck. You get what they give. Period.
With internet marketing the same applies except, you can write your own paycheck, but now that you’re the boss there’s no one to make you get out of bed and DO it.
I’m sure that if someone took out an ad in the sunday times looking for someone to help them build their business online, people would probably flock to it because they don’t have to commit to actually building the business, but they would be able to do the minimum and get paid.
Problem is that doing the minimum would only earn them minimum wage. Crazy world, but that’s how it is.
So if internet marketing is more than theory to you and you’re committed to building a real business that makes real money…
Get real with it.

There are a ton of people out there with the mistaken assumption that if you just drive more traffic to a losing offer you’ll make sales. Well first of all you have to consider the offer… is it targeted to the right people? Is anyone even interested in the offer itself? If this is the case what can you do to increase website conversion and beef up your bottom line?
How frustrating it can be when you spend a good amount of time doing everything you can to get visitors to your website to the point of almost pulling your hair out to make a sale and nothing happens. It almost makes you want to quit sometimes doesn’t it? But you know better than that so you keep at it and still nothing. What gives?
As I mentioned earlier perhaps the offer is not targeted to the right people. If you’re targeting PPC products and services to an SEO crowd I don’t think it’s going to work out to good. The same could be said for targeting list building products to an adsense crowd, somehow your conversions may not be what you’re expecting.
Now that was just one area you might want to consider, you may also want to look at the sales copy on the site your promoting. The product could very well be spectacular but if the sales letter only draws yawns and question marks the likelihood of seeing any conversions will be minimal at best.
In addition to the sales copy not pulling the way you need it to, there’s also the possibility that you’re selling the sales page before your prospect gets to the sales page. It’s important to presell or soft sell your prospets so that clicking on your affiliate link seems more like a good idea in their minds versus a high pressure pitch from you.
More traffic is not the answer for a weak offer and if you want to drastically increase website conversions that will take your internet business to a whole new level of profitability check this out.

Have you ever read an insanely long blog post or article that you clicked away from before you reached the end of the article? What happened, was it the content? Was the quality of the article poor or do you just have a hard time concentrating longer than 300 words?
If you are going to write content for a living especially on a blog it’s important to remember that most people have a hard time staying focused long enough to read articles or blog posts longer than 300 words.
So this means that you have to write in short info blasts that get to the point and keep your readers coming back for more. Have you ever gotten an email that read like a short novel? Do you read every word or just skip right to the link or the P.S.?
What’s the first thing you think about the next time you get an email from that person? Nice guy, but the mails are too long. See ya. The same thing happens with blog posts and articles. If the posts or articles are too long than two things will happen:
1. Your reader will click away long before they reach your bio box in your article
2. After they read that epic literary masterpiece on your blog, they ain’t coming back.
Why?
They just don’t have the time. One of the things that the internet facilitates is speed. When you do a search online it’s because you want to condense the time frame needed to find what you’re looking for right away. It’s the same way with your blog readers, if you can give them short info blasts that satisfy a question that was on their minds… they’ll be back.
An upside to this is that you don’t have to spend hours writing one or two posts. You can break up your material into easily digestible and actionable chunks that will benefit your readers far more than an all out brain dump.
