3 Tips to Make Money With Clickbank Using A Blog

One of the easiest ways to make money with clickbank is by setting up a Wordpress blog, but just having a blog with a bunch of affiliate links doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll make money.

In this article I’m going to share three tips from my personal experience that can help you to make money with clickbank over and over again.

Tip #1 Provide useful information. If you want to build trust and credibility with your market it’s important to give them information they can use.

By providing useful content you are in effect feeding the initial motivation of your readers, which is to get more information about a particular problem or situation they may be facing.

With targeted and relevant content you will draw readers back to your blog frequently, which in turn exposes them to tip #2.

Tip #2 Advertise relevant offers. In order for your blog to be effective when it comes to making affiliate sales, such as the many offers that are available on clickbank, it’s important to make sure that what you’re offering is tightly related to the content on your blog.

If you’re content is focused on dog training and you find an offer on clickbank that can help a person to train their dog in 7 days or less, than you’re probability of making sales is high.

Tip #3 Put an optin form on your blog. Getting traffic to your blog and making sales is great, but if you want to get the maximum profit value from your visitors, place an optin form on your blog.

Now the truth of the matter is that you won’t get a million subscribers, but you will get some and this will give you an opportunity to keep in touch with your visitors.

You can send them emails letting them know when new information has been posted as well offer relevant clickbank products and bonuses.

Your Best Bet For Killing It With Clickbank

So often you hear about Clickbank as being the best place for newbies to get started but if you really want to clean up profit wise with Clickbank you need to…

Create your own infoproduct and setup an affiliate program.

As a product vendor you have access to tens of thousands of potential affiliates who would be more than willing to promote your quality product.

Imagine having an army of people you don’t know and will probably never meet promoting your product. We’re talking about thousands of other people investing their time and resources into advertising and promotion for little ole you.

This is where the truly BIG money is made with clickbank, not that promoting as an affiliate doesn’t bring home some nice strips of bacon, but if you’re looking to take your income to the next level…

Start thinking about creating your own infoproduct and letting others sweat over the traffic.

That’s it for today… short and sweet.

What’s The Biggest Liability To Starting An Internet Business?

If you asked this question around the web you would get a truckload of interesting answers but in my own experience the biggest liablity is not…

External factors but it’s more of an internal factor and that factor is what keeps most people from ever reaching their profit potential online.

The internal factor I’m speaking about is centered around the characteristic of stubborness.

It’s not hard to understand why online marketers can get into a rut sometimes, because after all you pretty much end up learning a multitude of concepts through trial and error and you get used to doing things all by yourself so…

When you finally happen upon a system that produces results, the last thing you want to do is touch it. You know the old saying: “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” but…

Often times what you have achieved can be improved upon and if you’re stuck on your own opinions, you may just be limiting your income instead of expanding on it.

Now there is another way that stubborness can really hurt your business and that’s by not recognizing when something isn’t working at all, yet you still pursue it.

For instance you may have created products in your niche and for whatever reason they are not as ‘hot’ as they were when you first introduced them to the market. So do you just continue to do product launch after product launch to keep the profit engine going or do you look for other formats that generate a better response from your market?

Maybe you’re creating minisites for various products but you’re marketing them to the wrong audience, do you keep trying to fit a square block into a round hole or do you do some market research to speak to a more targeted audience to what you have to offer?

Are you creating products that you know the market wants, but no one seems to be responding like you hoped? Maybe you need to take a look at your sales copy and make some adjustments that will yield better results.

Obviously I could go on and on about this, but I think you get the picture. So don’t let the internal characteristic of stubborness become your biggest liability.

The main point if I had to state one is, if something is working that doesn’t mean it can’t work better and if something is not working than stop doing it.

Being stubborn about your comittment to your success is awesome, but don’t let that be the thing that keeps you from making it big online.

Developing Your Self Confidence Online

There is a ton of information available online and it can certainly be a bit overwhelming, but there is something you need to understand about it that can help you to boost your brand and build your self confidence.

Are you taking information for the sake of learning something new or is it with the end goal of communicating with your market?

A lot of people get bogged down with trying to learn everything about the market they’re in only to know nothing at all. Often times people don’t give the information they’ve just received a chance to settle before they go buying the next package of information.

Before you start taking in all kinds of information ask yourself what the purpose of learning something new is and how will knowing this new information fit in to your purpose.

In the case of internet and affiliate marketing there is a glut of information out there, (enough to choke a horse actually) but if you were to break internet marketing down to it’s simplest level you would be left with three things:

1. Your product

2. Your sales letter

3. Your payment processor

Seems incredibly simple and when you break it down it really is. Yet many people lack the confidence they need to pursue such a simple model because they are on information overload.

So how can you fix this problem before you throw in the towel?

Before I answer that question let me just say this…

The only information that really matters is the information that comes from the market you’re in. Yes you need to learn some marketing basics, but if you never communicate with your market, you’ll always be lost as to what to sell, who to sell it to and how to sell it.

So the best action step I can give you right now that will help you to gain the confidence you need to build your online business and get you the information that matters most is to start a blog.

Start a free blog with blogger.com or wordpress.com and offer as much content related to your market of interest and monitor the way people respond. Don’t worry about if they will like you or not, you will get a favorable response if you post regular content often that offers useful information the people in your market can benefit from.

Post often at least once or twice a day and if you feel like you don’t know what to write about just look at what other bloggers are saying about whatever is going on in your market and write about that.

Visit article directories and type in your main keyword and you’ll have a host of information you can write about and share with your market. The key to getting the best results by doing this is to inject your personality into the content. Write how you feel, give your opinion and you’ll get a response.

The faster you start to do this, the faster you’ll start to develop your confidence online and the sooner you will be able to find out exactly what people are looking for.

In a coming post we’ll talk a little about how to use that information to create or sell products that will benefit your readers as well as drive traffic.
