In this article you’ll find a short list of creative ways that you can use to increase the exposure of your internet marketing business.

Publish your e-zine in pdf format. You could place more articles within each issue. Publishing your ezine in pdf format allows you to include graphics and can give you an opportunity to generate more income by offering other businesses full color ads within your ezine.

If you have a product that isn’t generating a good amount of sales you can include it as a bonus with another offer or service.

Before you include it with the higher converting offer, be sure to include ads for your business within the product. It’s a great source of free advertising and increased exposure for your internet marketing business.

Swap ads with other internet business owners in your autoresponder. Place a short classified ad that you can put at the top or bottom of each others autoresponder sequence.

Share your content with other webmasters and ezine owners in your niche. You could share articles, lists, etc. Each webmaster could include a resource box leading to an affiliate link or related offer at the end of the content.

Inside your products you could offer to place advertisements for other online businesses, however before you just go ahead and do that ask the other party to do the same for you.

Keep in mind that it’s important to make sure that the businesses you trade ads with are targeting the same audience.

Offer free tips. You can offer your free tips on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, but make sure that the tips are relevant and related to what your business has to offer. You can write a short ad to include at the beginning or end of your emails.

Start a forum on your blog or website and offer free daily e-classes. If you pick hot topics that people are interested in learning about this will keep visitors coming back to your blog or website regularly.

Build your own directory of websites focusing on a specific subject. You can give your visitors an opportunity to link back to the directory by adding it to their own website.

Place a banner or text link ad at the top of the home page for the directory. With this idea you can build lots of backlinks to your website fast and get massive exposure for your ads.

Effective Article Writing – How Do You Get In The Mood?

Let’s face it while many of us know that article marketing is a tried and true way to make money online it’s not the sexiest method on the planet. What do you do when you have to sit down and write when you don’t feel like it?

It helps to have the right frame of mind when it comes to setting the stage for effective article writing. In order to achieve a state of mind that can help you think positively about writing, you might want to ask yourself some questions.

How will writing articles today enhance my business? Will writing articles today bring me closer to my goal financially? If I don’t write any articles today, how will that negatively impact my business? Would I rather write articles to support my family or work 9 – 5 in some dead end job for the next 30 – 40 years and continue struggling to pay my bills?

Answering those questions shouldn’t take you more than a couple of minutes and may help you to get your head together quickly.

Another thing you can do is make sure that the area you’re working is clear. There’s nothing more irritating than having other stuff competing for your attention in your workspace. Don’t make your mind work harder than it has to.

Something I’ve found very important to do is to write down any new ideas as quickly as they come. You don’t necessarily have to post the content immediately, you can go to Google  docs or notepad and get the idea out while it’s fresh. I’ve found that whenever I’ve tried to hold my thoughts until I”m ready to write, I usually can’t remember all the ideas that were racing through my mind as they were happening.

If you have to, put up pictures or play music that helps you to get into an easy state that allows your thoughts to flow.

Most importantly of all, you have to keep at it. Don’t worry about writing the next great literary masterpiece. Just write, write and write some more and you’ll soon find that you can condition yourself to write an effective article in almost any circumstance on just about anything.

Effective Article Writing – Can You Focus Longer Than 300 Words?

Have you ever read an insanely long blog post or article that you clicked away from before you reached the end of the article? What happened, was it the content? Was the quality of the article poor or do you just have a hard time concentrating longer than 300 words?

If you are going to write content for a living especially on a blog it’s important to remember that most people have a hard time staying focused long enough to read articles or blog posts longer than 300 words.

So this means that you have to write in short info blasts that get to the point and keep your readers coming back for more. Have you ever gotten an email that read like a short novel? Do you read every word or just skip right to the link or the P.S.?

What’s the first thing you think about the next time you get an email from that person? Nice guy, but the mails are too long. See ya. The same thing happens with blog posts and articles. If the posts or articles are too long than two things will happen:

1. Your reader will click away long before they reach your bio box in your article

2. After they read that epic literary masterpiece on your blog, they ain’t coming back.

Why?

They just don’t have the time. One of the things that the internet facilitates is speed. When you do a search online it’s because you want to condense the time frame needed to find what you’re looking for right away. It’s the same way with your blog readers, if you can give them short info blasts that satisfy a question that was on their minds… they’ll be back.

An upside to this is that you don’t have to spend hours writing one or two posts. You can break up your material into easily digestible and actionable chunks that will benefit your readers far more than an all out brain dump.

How To Make Money With Affliate Marketing When You’re Broke

April 28, 2009 in Articles, affiliate marketing | Comments (1)

That seems like a rough headline eh? How to make money with affiliate marketing when you’re broke. The truth is 99% of marketers who get started with affiliate marketing are broke. That’s why they got started.

What Do You Mean?

Let me clarify what I mean by broke besides the obvious. If you’re not making enough money to pay the bills and put money in the bank… you’re broke.

If you’re making a killing on your job, but your expenses are larger than your income… you’re broke.

If you are making a good living and putting money in the bank, but you don’t have any time left over to enjoy life and spend quality time with your family… you’re broke.

And lastly, if you’re so stressed out that you can’t make time to build a business online with affiliate marketing… you’re really broke.

So how can you make money with affiliate marketing if you’re flat broke?

It all comes down to three things:

  • A Plan
  • Work
  • Discipline

First things first. You need to make a plan. Nothing too exotic, because if it’s too involved, you ain’t gonna do it.

Second, you need to work the plan. No plan will execute itself, so roll up your sleeves and get ready to do some work.

Third, you will need to stick to the plan in order for it to work. No training will work without the discipline needed to see results. You have to be willing to train yourself to succeed. This is the most crucial component to making money online.

Here’s the work. You’re going to produce content, like you’ve never produced content before. You will write articles and blog posts. If you haven’t built a list, you need to start now and you’re going to write short articles for your autoresponder series.

Care To Elaborate?

So let’s put this together. Once you’ve decided on the market you’re interested in and put your blog or website together, now you’re going to need to fill it up with content.

Then, you’re going to have to write more articles to get visitors to your website or blog. Now understand something, this works, but it takes a consistent, day in and day out effort for it to happen. You won’t see any returns if you just write 10 articles and never do another thing. You gotta go for it and block out all the distractions around you.

It works, it ain’t pretty, but it works. Fill up your autoresponder with at least 5 or 6 articles spaced out about 3 or 4 days apart. This content is for the people who choose to optin to your newsletter. Every other day or two after you’ve written the first few articles, add another article to your autoresponder series.

This will help you to build a relationship with your market and set the stage for future sales opportunities. Like I said before, it ain’t pretty, but it works.

In due time you’ll start making some money, as a matter of fact, when I stopped buying every last ebook and program out there and just focused on doing this, I started seeing commissions within my first two weeks. But that’s me, you may or may not see the same results, it depends on how hungry for success you are.

Well sorry for the long winded post, I hope it was helpful.

Make Easy Cash Online With This Simple Affiliate Marketing Model Free

April 10, 2009 in Articles, Internet Marketing, Personal Thoughts, The Inbox, Traffic Generation, affiliate marketing | Comments (10)

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

If you’ve tried affiliate marketing before and didn’t see the success you were looking for, it’s probably because you were working too hard. The simple affiliate model that I’m going to share with you, I could probably charge $27 for, but I’m going to give it to you Free. Are you O.k. with that?

In just a second you’re going to see just how easy it is to promote clickbank products or any other products online, but I want to share this with you first.

Like you, I have bought a lot of products, programs and services. Some of them turned out to be good sources of information that have increased my ability to earn money online and others turned out to be nothing more than a friggin’ donation. So if you’re frustrated right now and affiliate marketing has become more “fight than fun”, then this model should prove to make it fun again.

Anyway, here goes:

The first thing you have to do is figure out what you want to promote. You can go to Clickbank, Paydotcom, Affiliate Programs and just about a million other places to find something, but you gotta find something.

Next make sure that what you’re interested in promoting, a lot of other people are looking for. Don’t waste your time promoting something nobody is looking for. That’s when you start to bang your head against the wall. Stop that.

Do some quick keyword research using Google’s free keyword tool and see how often the subject your interested in is being searched for and then go to Google search and see how many websites are competing for that term. But don’t get hung up with that.

Now once you’ve decided on what you want to promote, get your affiliate link. If you have a lot of affiliate links, go into notepad on your computer and open up a file and call it “affiliate links”. It’s an easy way to keep all of your affiliate links in one place. When you need one, you can just go and grab it.

Once you’ve gotten your affiliate link, go to the affiliate tools page for the program you want to promote and look for a banner. If they have choices, that’s even better.

Now what you’re obviously going to need is  a place to put this stuff. So open up another tab in your browser if you’re using firefox or open up a new page if you’re using Internet Explorer and go to blogger.com.

Setting up your blog on blogger is basically paint by numbers, but…

In the title of your blog be sure to incorporate your main keyword. In the url of your blog you will also want to use your main keyword.

It will look like this: http://howtoplayfootball.blogspot.com [this is an example].

You can also use the product name as the keyword in your title, but jazz it up a little. Make it interesting.

Pick a template for your blog that won’t detract from the content you’re going to put on it. Simple layouts work great for converting visitors to buyers.

You can find an example here:

http://simple-online-income.blogspot.com

So here’s where it get’s fun. Put the banner at the head of your post and then you’re going to generate some content for your post. For content you can write a short 250-300 word article related to the product your promoting.

You can get the content from Private Label Rights material a good Free source is here: PLR Wholesaler

Don’t just copy and paste the article, because that’s what other people are doing and you won’t get anywhere in the search engines doing that. What you want to do is rewrite the article in your own words. Your basically saying the same thing with your own words. Make sense?

Make sure to include your keyword in your articles at least 2-3 times.

You can also search article directories for related content and apply the same rewriting concept to fill your blog with useful and appropriate content.

Once you’re done with that you can hit “publish” to make your article “live” on the web. Do not include any affiliate links in your article. That’s what the banner is for.

On the sidebar of your site all you need is your archives and links to other products created by that publisher or Clickbank Hop Ads. You can find that at Clickbank, click on resources and look for the post on hop ads, the rest is paint by numbers simple.

If you want to put an “about me” box on it. Post a  picture of the product your promoting and a link to it.

Write about 5-10 articles each with the same banner at the top of each post. As your reader makes their way through the information the only place they will be able to click to get more information will be your banner.

Do not put adsense on your blog. If you put adsense on your blog then you’re settling for a 5cent click versus a $27, $47, or $77 commission. I don’t know about you, but $77 sounds better to me than 5cents.

The only way out for your visitor is the back button or the payment button. Get it?

Anyway, the next thing you have to do is drive traffic to your site. You can do this by writing and publishing articles on sites like:

  • Ezine articles
  • Go articles
  • Article Alley
  • Article Dashboard

And about a dozen others, those are just the ones that come to mind right now. In addition to writing articles, you can social bookmark your site in places like, Digg,Propeller,De.li.cious, StumbleUpon, etc. for fast traffic.

A good tool to use is Only wire that will let you bookmark about 15-20 sites with one click. Be sure to put your keywords where the tags box is located. And that’s it.

Want more traffic? write more articles.
