Sifting Through The Crap and Finding The Truth
There is so much information online about how to make money online that you could spend hours going from one product to the next and still not get the information you need to justify the amount of time you’ve spent on your quest. In addition to the time, there’s the amount of money you’ll spend as well. So what should you do?
First of all when it comes to turning your computer into a money making machine, there has to be a realistic level of expectation that has to be established before you do anything.
If you are acquainted in any way with the time and cost associated with starting an offline business, you’ll also be aware of the fact that brick and mortar businesses like a McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, 7 Eleven or even your local mom and pop hardware store don’t start out in profit.
Often there is a considerable amount of time that will go by where in most cases there are negative gains for at least the first 1-5 years. If you’re able to break even in your first 1-2 years you’re actually doing pretty good, but that’s not the majority.
So if you’re seriously thinking about establishing a business online it’s important to come into it with the right mentality and perspective.
Having the proper understanding with regards building an internet business whether it be as a product vendor or affiliate will help you to get past one of the biggest problems in the internet marketing world and that is… false and unrealistic expectations.
Now having said that, the good news is that it doesn’t take that long to build a solid business online as long as you’re going about it from an entrepreneurial perspective.
You see, most people are o.k. with what I just said a moment ago until…
They come across all of the promises of instant riches and profits that many salesletters are filled with. Once they see this all logic goes out the window and after their first try they end up getting sucked into a money pit that involves spending dollar after dollar to find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Here are some realities that you need to understand and come to terms with if you want to build a real business online that will afford you the freedom of going full time and quitting your job.
1. No matter what product you buy with the exception of software for automation purposes, any system you choose to work with will always involve a need for traffic. Without traffic you don’t have a business, I don’t care how nice your website looks or what kind of copy you have on it, if nobody is looking at it… then it’s just another painting hanging on a wall in an art gallery.
2. You have to learn how to communicate with your target audience in order to provide any service of value. Think about it… if no one is looking for what you’re offering… you can forget about traffic.
3. You must establish your brand and build a following that will loyally support that brand. O.k. so you’ve got this great website up offering a widely sort after service or product that your target is willing to spend their money on but, there’s one problem…
You’re not the only game in town.
So now you’ve got to be able to distinguish yourself from other businesses that sell the same product, because if you don’t then you’re never going to acquire the needed amount of traffic to produce the sales and revenue that it will take to sustain your business.
At this point as you can see making money online is not some ‘brain dead anybody can do it’ type of business… it’s business.
So here’s what I’d like to do…
I want to create a comprehensive product that will help individuals to set up an internet business that will put them on a path to success within 6 months to a year. I’m not going to resort to any hype or b.s. because there is already enough of that available as it is, but I would like to ask for your help with this project.
If you were going to create a product that would teach individuals how to build a real business online…
a) What important information would you include in it?
b) What format would best suit the needs of those who buy it? (Video, pdf, audio, all of the above)
c) What would be a reasonable price point to go with so that the product is not devalued but relatively accessible to your audience?
d) Would you create a membership site or sell it as a stand alone product?
I have personally had the good fortune of being able to build a business online and generate a good 4 figure income that is steadily increasing and I would like to help others minus the hype to start their own business on the right foot and actually make money with it.
So if you could help me out with the questions above, I’d like to send you a couple of exclusive reports I’ve just created to show my appreciation.
I look forward to reading your responses and thanks so much for being a reader of my blog.
Sincerely,
-Nando
