It’s interesting that despite the number of traffic generation products that are available on the internet, a vast majority of marketers still struggle to get a consistent daily flow of traffic to their website. Want a simple plan to help you get more traffic to your website? Keep reading…

What I’m going to share with you is perhaps one of the easiest ways to establishing an eventual tsunami of traffic to your website and the best part about it is, you don’t have to slave away at your computer for hours on end to get it.

This routine for getting more traffic to your website works even better for individuals who don’t have much time at all to invest in their business.

Individuals with limited time appreciate the value of the time they do have so they are more apt to focus on getting results and following instructions.

So let’s get into this quick and dirty traffic routine you can use to drive traffic to any website you wish.

First of all it’s a good idea to determine which methods of traffic you wish to engage in so that you can take the next step which is to…

Schedule each method of traffic generation to be applied on specific days of the week.

As an example, let’s say you decided to use forum marketing, article marketing, social bookmarking and press releases to get targeted traffic.

Instead of pulling your hair out to do all of these things in a single day, you could perform these tasks on specific days.

Monday – Invest two hours of your time into article marketing. For the first hour you could write as many articles as you can in that hour and in the next hour you can submit your articles to as many of the top directories as you can.

If you like you can work one hour in the morning and one hour at night. You’re still putting the time in without stressing yourself out.

Tuesday – You could sign up to some of the top forums in your niche and post comments for an hour or two with a link in your signature back to your site or where ever you want your traffic to go.

Wednesday – You can social bookmark your articles to as many social bookmarking sites as you can within an hour.

Thursday – Write a press release and submit it to as many free press release sites as you can within an hour or two.

Friday – You can do some keyword research and gather up some more keywords to write your articles around and start the whole process over again on Monday.

If you’re feeling really ambitious start a blog and rewrite your articles and drip feed them into your blog using the schedule function so that you can enjoy a level of automated traffic visiting your site.

As you can see when you break it down like this getting more traffic to your website doesn’t have to be as painful as some make it out to be. It’s just a matter of managing your time wisely and getting the most mileage without running out of gas.

Consistency + Frequency = Currency (in your pocket)

There are tons of ways to get traffic to your site and hopefully this post has given you some ideas as to how to get it done as effectively and efficiently as possible.

What’s The Best Way To Use Article Marketing?

If you’re going to engage in a labor intensive strategy like article marketing, it’s important that you maximize that traffic for every penny it’s worth.

Article marketing can be used to drive traffic to your blog, send traffic directly to an affiliate link (although not all directories allow you to do this), direct traffic to your static website or to an adsense site.

But the most effective way to use article marketing is to send that prequalified traffic to a squeeze page or a web page with an opt in form on it.

Think about it for a moment. Considering the amount of time it takes to write an article and submit it, how many of those visitors if they are sent to your blog or static website will actually purchase anything?

Less than 1%. Scary huh?

So why not send that traffic to a web page that will be able to capture their name and email address for future marketing purposes?

Not only is this the most effective way to use article marketing, but it is an effective way to recycle the traffic you’ve worked so hard to get in the first place.

If you’re running a blog or static site (meaning a website that doesn’t have to be constantly updated) you can send short email messages to your subscribers telling them about a new article or tip you’ve written about on your site.

Now here’s the really cool thing that starts to happen when you do this. A compound effect begins to take place as you build your subscriber list and recycle your traffic.

As you continue to ad posts to your blog or pages to your website, the search engines will index them thus sending you additional traffic while you are directing the already existing traffic from your subscribers back to your site at the same time.

Isn’t that awesome?

Now you can direct link to your affiliate link if you want, but if 99% of the traffic that stops by the product your promoting don’t buy, now what?

It becomes like pouring water into a leaking bucket and in this case you’re losing more than you are gaining.

While article marketing is an effective way to drive traffic to your squeeze page you can compound that effect further using multiple traffic sources.
