It’s interesting that despite the number of traffic generation products that are available on the internet, a vast majority of marketers still struggle to get a consistent daily flow of traffic to their website. Want a simple plan to help you get more traffic to your website? Keep reading…

What I’m going to share with you is perhaps one of the easiest ways to establishing an eventual tsunami of traffic to your website and the best part about it is, you don’t have to slave away at your computer for hours on end to get it.

This routine for getting more traffic to your website works even better for individuals who don’t have much time at all to invest in their business.

Individuals with limited time appreciate the value of the time they do have so they are more apt to focus on getting results and following instructions.

So let’s get into this quick and dirty traffic routine you can use to drive traffic to any website you wish.

First of all it’s a good idea to determine which methods of traffic you wish to engage in so that you can take the next step which is to…

Schedule each method of traffic generation to be applied on specific days of the week.

As an example, let’s say you decided to use forum marketing, article marketing, social bookmarking and press releases to get targeted traffic.

Instead of pulling your hair out to do all of these things in a single day, you could perform these tasks on specific days.

Monday – Invest two hours of your time into article marketing. For the first hour you could write as many articles as you can in that hour and in the next hour you can submit your articles to as many of the top directories as you can.

If you like you can work one hour in the morning and one hour at night. You’re still putting the time in without stressing yourself out.

Tuesday – You could sign up to some of the top forums in your niche and post comments for an hour or two with a link in your signature back to your site or where ever you want your traffic to go.

Wednesday – You can social bookmark your articles to as many social bookmarking sites as you can within an hour.

Thursday – Write a press release and submit it to as many free press release sites as you can within an hour or two.

Friday – You can do some keyword research and gather up some more keywords to write your articles around and start the whole process over again on Monday.

If you’re feeling really ambitious start a blog and rewrite your articles and drip feed them into your blog using the schedule function so that you can enjoy a level of automated traffic visiting your site.

As you can see when you break it down like this getting more traffic to your website doesn’t have to be as painful as some make it out to be. It’s just a matter of managing your time wisely and getting the most mileage without running out of gas.

Consistency + Frequency = Currency (in your pocket)

There are tons of ways to get traffic to your site and hopefully this post has given you some ideas as to how to get it done as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Talk soon.

Article Marketing – A Powerful Traffic Generation Method for Creating A Responsive List

January 18, 2010 in article marketing | Comments (4)

Make no mistake about it, without a constant flow of traffic coming to your site, the likelihood of making sales diminishes greatly. In this article I’m going to talk about a powerful traffic generation method that produces results time and time again.

The method of traffic generation I’m speaking of is article marketing and the reason why it’s so powerful is because this method of traffic generation will continue to send traffic to your site long after you’ve written the article.

Articles keep working long after they’re written and if you’re not into writing articles to get traffic, there are plenty of services available that you can use to outsource this method of getting traffic to your website.

However there is something very important to consider and that is, that the quality of visitor that comes from your articles is a lot higher than the kind that come from pay-per-click.

Why is the quality of visitor that comes to your site so important?

Because a visitor that comes from an article directory after reading your article is more apt to be responsive to your offers.

The reason they’ll be more responsive to your offers is because they’re already interested in what you have to offer seeing as they were reading your article to get information they were looking for in the first place.

The key to successfully marketing with articles is to have a constant flow of new content for your target market to sink their teeth into.

Most people when they first start out only write a handful of articles expecting a rush of traffic to come banging down the door, but it takes far more than just a handful of articles to make it work.

Traffic Generation Strategies That Work But Are Hardly Mentioned

August 29, 2009 in Traffic Generation | Comments (4)

When you hear conversations about getting traffic to a website, you hear social bookmark this and social network that. You hear write articles and submit to directories and pay per click. There are classified ads and traffic exchanges as well forum marketing and blogging… but…

What about offline advertising?

Did you know that the best kind of viral advertising is word of mouth? You know the old you tell two friends and they’ll tell two friends and so on and so on? Who knew that clairol commercial would have such far reaching ramifications. Anyway back to the discussion.

You can still print up business cards for free with vista print and hand them out to everyone you come in contact with or leave them in publications in the doctors office, the local car dealer, auto repair shop or at the local supermarket.

Flyers are pretty cheap to make and can be used in your neighborhood as well. You can even purchase a classified ad in your local newspaper to get the word out.

How about this… writing and submitting articles for publication in related offline magazines. That could easily boost your credibility for sure and the traffic that comes from those advertising methods is type in traffic. Meaning no competition for keywords, your prospects will just type  the url of your website directly into their browser and go right to your site with no distractions.

These traffic generation strategies still work, especially in conjunction with all of the other methods discussed earlier. So if you’re still struggling to get traffic to your site try adding one of these offline suggestions as a new dimension to your traffic plan.

Affiliate Marketing Success: Learning Through Repetition

April 28, 2009 in Articles, affiliate marketing | Comments (7)

While it may seem like someone is achieving affiliate marketing success every 30 seconds, the reality is that many of the affiliate marketing success stories you read about today did not happen over night.

What Does It Take?

In order to become effective at anything especially affiliate marketing, it will take constant repetition of the basic fundamentals in order to win at this game. One of the biggest factors that leads to frustration and failure is giving up too soon.

I don’t think there are very many people who grow up just knowing this stuff. You have to learn how to do market research, keyword research, content research, upload and download files, create a basic website and on and on.

Then there’s the traffic generation side of the equation whether you’re paying for it in time or money, all methods require time and testing. The problem is that you may not be giving yourself enough room to learn and try in order to get the experience you need, to do the things you need to do.

All I Wanted To Do Was…

When I first got started, all I wanted to do was make money. Period. I knew absolutely nothing about this industry, and even less about the various topics I mentioned above. In my mind, the internet was just supposed to start pumping out money because I bought a “complete” turnkey website and I thought that was all I had to do.

I thought plugging it in meant that all I had to do was get it online. LOL.

Now when I look back, all I can say is: “Wow,  I didn’t have a clue”. However once I hit that wall, I realized that this was going to be a learning process. Here’s a simple secret I’m going to share with you, so let’s just keep this between you and me, o.k.?

A Simple Secret

The fastest way to hit the learning curve and get into the profit zone is to fail as fast and as often as you can. Now nobody likes to fail, you feel embarassed, angry, and disgusted, but the faster you can get past that stage, the sooner you’ll start succeeding.

Now the successes will be small. Maybe after a couple of failed attempts, you manage to figure out how to upload your blog theme and plugins to your server and they actually work. Pat yourself on the back, good job. When you’re just starting out, that’s a big deal.

Go get a beer or call your best girlfriend, or prance around like a fool to your favorite song, for a minute. Celebrate. Then go back to work and tackle your next issue. In the long run the more you repeat these processess over and over again, the faster you’ll be at it in the future.

The Key To Your Success With Affiliate Marketing

Repetition is the key to your success with affiliate marketing. Although the graphics may change with every new product and things may be explained in a slightly different way, the basic marketing principles and technicalities will stay the same.

So when you feel like your at your wits end, because you just can’t seem to figure out why the format of your website looks jacked up on Internet Explore and great on Firefox, go back and carefully look at what you did, retrace your steps and if worse comes to worse, start over again.

Give yourself room to succeed. You know that boss or supervisor you have a passionate dislike for? Don’t become that person to yourself. Don’t worry about the stories of people who made 5 gazillion dollars in 29 days, many of those same people have been at it much longer than you have and now it’s finally working. That will be YOU, if you don’t give up too soon.

Affiliate Marketing Success Will Be Yours,

Nando

What’s The Best Way To Tackle Multiple Affiliate Promotions?

March 25, 2009 in Articles, affiliate marketing | Comments (5)

As an affiliate marketer it’s very easy to get caught up in trying to promote everything all at once. The problem is that you end up spreading yourself to thin and the work becomes  a hassle.

Especially when you’re new are you susceptible to this kind of activity, because everything just looks so good and you want to make some money fast. In the end the only thing you end up getting is frustrated and burned out.

The best way to promote multiple products is through your list. When you have a list you can schedule your promotional messages in advance and track your campaigns more effectively through your autoresponder service.

The other important benefit of building a list, is that you can focus all of your traffic generation activities on that one page versus trying to drive traffic individually to a hundred different websites.

Once your list gets to a decent size somewhere in the 4,000 – 10,000 range you will be able to direct your list traffic to any site you please without killing yourself.

So if you haven’t started building a list yet, make it a goal to start now, so that you can benefit from all your efforts in a monetary way.

There are many ebooks and reports on list building on the internet, one that I strongly recommend is Rapid List Profit Formula by Chris Rempel. Chris breaks down list building in a very methodical way, with email examples and strategies that are not impossible and overcomplicated.

You can check out Chris’ product by visiting Rapid List Profit Formula
